About Me

Hello! My name is David, and I am a counsellor based in Anfield, Liverpool. I understand that you may be feeling overwhelmed right now and unsure about what to do next. I'm here to help.

I provide a confidential and non-judgmental safe space for individuals seeking therapy and support, whether in-person or remotely. As a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and client care.

The modality I follow is Person-Centred Counselling and with my compassionate and empathetic approach, I aim to help you navigate your challenges and achieve personal growth and well-being.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Counselling Theory and Practice, specialising in Trauma Counselling as well as Child and Adolescent Counselling. Additionally, I have trained with the Foundation for Infant Loss, gaining expertise as a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Specialist, Rainbow Baby Specialist (for subsequent pregnancies after loss), and in supporting those facing infertility.

My professional background includes working at Healthbox CIC, a charity that accepts NHS referrals, and serving as a school counsellor for Place2Be. Through these experiences, I have gained the skills to support individuals facing various challenges, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Low confidence
  • Trauma
  • Bereavement
  • Addiction
  • Loneliness
  • Anger
  • Abuse
  • Abortion
  • Miscarriage
  • Baby/Infant loss
  • Infertility
  • Bullying

I primarily focus on talking therapy but also integrate creative methods such as play therapy, sand play, drawing, painting, writing, and music to support healing.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss how I can assist you on your journey to well-being, please feel free to reach out. You can contact me via message, call/text, email, or by booking an introductory call.
